Johnson City Public Library Poster Series

Graphic Design Workshop is a class that allows us to get experience working with clients. We work collaboratively in groups, set up meetings, and work individually with clients.

The Johnson City Public Library was my group’s client. They wanted to get posters for their media center designed that focused on pieces of literature that were also movies. They also knew they wanted a minimalistic style and quotes instead of titles. As creative director of our group, I focused on sketching and researching what types of designs we should do for the various genres.

Mackenzie Hooven was in charge of client relations and worked with all the types present. Toni Matheson worked on documentation, overall ideas, and general support. I was responsible for completing the final illustrations.
